9月18日下午，我校隆重召开2018级来华留学生开学典礼。海外教育学院院长卢明添，海外教育学院各部门相关负责人和全体教师出席典礼。
典礼上，卢明添院长代表全体师生对来自法国、俄罗斯、哈萨克斯坦、蒙古、印度尼西亚等23个国家的七十多位留学新生表示热烈的欢迎，向留学生介绍了我校基于武夷特色的文化依托、学校的专业优势、教学资源以及师资情况，并向留学生们提出了三点希望和寄语：一要尽快适应环境，克服文化差异，早日融入到学校大家庭中；二要以学为本、以书为友，互相帮助、相互团结在一起；三要遵守中国的法律法规和校纪校规，相互尊重各国风俗，努力成为各国间文明交流使者。他希望各位留学生能为增进各国人民的友谊，为世界多元文化的发展做出贡献。
Wuyi University held the 2018 Opening ceremony of the international students on September 18th. The whole teaching staff and faculty with all international students attended the event. Lu Mingtian, the dean of the Overseas Education College, gave a speech at the assembly.
The Dean Lu, representing Wuyi University, gave a warm welcome to more than 70 new studentsform 23 countries, including but not only France,Russia,Kazakhstan ,Mongolia and Indonesia.
On the speech, the dean introduced the culture,the advantages and teaching resources of Wuyi University to the international students.He hopes the new students can achieve the following three goals:
First, the students should adapt themselves to Chinese life and overcome the culture shock as soon as possible to become a real part of the big school family.
Second, the students can make good friends with classmates from different countries, attach great importance to learning and make progress day by day;
The last but not the least, hope the students from various culture can always obey the Chinese law and school’s rules. The students should respect each others culture and be the culture ambassador of their own country.
